This spacious six-room apartment has been lovingly rehabbed, with its 19^th century vintage details retained and then decorated with fine European antiques, many of which are from Olde Chicago Antiques, at 3110 Kedzie. Its 21^st century amenities such as cable television, free innwide secure WiFi and air conditioning make this a pleasant stay.

The high-ceilinged sitting room boasts the original plaster ceiling medallion, embossed trim work, and unusual curved walls flanking large shuttered bay windows. The furnishings are charming 19th century Victorians selected for both their beauty and comfort. The large credenza holds a 27" TV, VCR, videos and board games. An ornate multi-speed ceiling fan adds to the comfort.

An original plaster ceiling medallion supports a period chandelier, while embossed trimwork encircles the formal dining room. The table expands to seat up to twelve guests, whether for meals or conferences.

The study can serve as an extra bedroom, as the chaise is actually a surprisingly comfortable full-sized futon bed. The book shelves are stocked with dozens of books to delight every reader, including fiction in Spanish, French, German, Finnish and Portuguese. The desk offers an ideal work space for the business traveler.

Autumn's Room offers a queen-sized bed, carved pear-wood dresser, bedside table, and clock radio with CD player. Spacious shelving and the deep closet with its full-length mirror provide extra storage, and the luxurious linens, super-firm mattress, and wall-to-wall carpeting complete the pampered feeling.

The Louis Philippe Bedroom offers a full-sized bed dressed with fine linens on a super-firm mattress. The ceiling fixture is hand-painted with roses to complement the linen comforter. There is a marble-topped dresser/desk combo, clock radio, and built-in closet with full-length mirrors.

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen includes spacious furniture-look cabinets, SubZero double freezer refrigerator, dishwasher, Corian countertop and sink with Franke faucet set, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and all dishes, glassware, utensils, etc.

Bathroom: After an invigorating shower or relaxing soak in the clawfoot tub  with complimentary toiletries, guests may enjoy our hair dryer and soft, thick towels at the antique Bombay chest with vessel sink.
