~ Introduction ~

Nestled in downtown's bustling Lincoln Park, yet on a quiet block of magnificent 19th century homes, the mansion was designed in 1886 by a prominent architect, H. M. Hansen for his own family. It is now a Historically Significant Building, as its original Victorian splendor has been intelligently preserved -- Giannini and Hilgart stained glass windows, pocket doors and shutters, parquet floors, ornate decorative fireplaces, carved wood trim, plaster ceiling medallions, etc.

Fine 19th century furnishings and artwork have been artfully blended with 21st century conveniences such as central air conditioning, high-speed Internet and free secured WiFi to provide total comfort.

There are three bedrooms with queen beds and one with two single beds to accommodate various groupings of one to ten guests.

This is a very special place to stay, unlike anything else in Chicago.
