All Victorian parlors had a table and chairs in the center, and this room is no exception with its 18th century ornate beauty. This upper level suite offers a quiet retreat for up to four guests with its wide-screen LCD television with DVD player, private sundeck and extra ethernet connection. To save a trip to the common area's kitchen, there is also a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave.

Lit Bateau Guest Room
The Lit Bateau Room has two single boat beds, an antique hutch with drop-down desk, an unique antique night table, ceiling fan with crystal chandelier, a full-length cherry and gilt mirror, and a roomy California closet.
Art Nouveau Room
The Art Nouveau Room offers a very special French bedroom set built in 1892 by Louis Majorelle. His queen-sized bed features an intricately-carved head and foot board, and the matching armoire is so finely detailed it even has carvings below its full-length mirror.
Note: Louis Majorelle (1859-1926) took over his father's furniture-making business in 1879 in Nancy, France, and by 1890, had adopted Art Nouveau forms. He favored exotic woods and decorative carvings based on sinuous forms and natural motifs to create an individual, elegant style. Majorelle worked partly on commission, but also produced designs for a catalogue. Even so, his work is rare.
Enjoy a brisk shower or relaxing soak in the clawfoot bathtub under the stained glass window, or simply wash up at the original pedestal sink or the additional luxurious 18th century hand-painted sink.
Sundeck
The Parlour Suite's large private sundeck with its umbrella table and sun table seat eight, and is directly off the parlour room, overlooking our neighbor's charming gardens and festooned with its own lively flower boxes in the summer months.
