We are one half block to eight buses, copious taxicabs, the free summer trolley, and two to five blocks from three subway/el stations to quickly reach all the other city attractions.
Subway/El: We are two blocks from the SEDGWICK el stop on the BROWN Line, and about five blocks from either the CLARK/DIVISION stop or the NORTH AVE. stop on the RED Line. Buses: If you prefer to travel by bus, the following routes all stop within two blocks or less of The Mansion: 11-Lincoln, 22-Clark, 36-Broadway, 72-North, 73-Armitage, 145-Michigan Av Express, 151-Sheridan, and 156-LaSalle. You may also purchase 1-day, 3-day, 5-day or 7-day passes for unlimited travel. From O'Hare Airport: The only subway at O’Hare is the BLUE Line Train to the City. Ride for about 40 minutes towards Chicago. Exit downtown at CLARK/LAKE ST. Transfer (free) upstairs to the Brown Line north towards KIMBALL. In five minutes, exit at SEDGWICK. Facing NORTH AV, turn right onto NORTH AV; go two blocks. Turn left onto WELLS ST; go one block and turn right at the stop sign onto EUGENIE ST. We’re the fifth house on your left, #164. Ring the bell. From Midway Airport: The only subway at Midway is the ORANGE Line Train to the City. Ride for about 40 minutes towards Chicago. Exit downtown at CLARK/LAKE ST. Transfer (free) upstairs to the BROWN line north to KIMBALL. In five minutes, exit at SEDGEWICK ST. Facing NORTH AV, turn right onto NORTH AV; go two blocks. Turn left onto WELLS ST; go one block and turn right at the stop sign onto EUGENIE ST. We’re the fifth house on your left, #164. Ring the bell.
